Glitch Workshops

We hold workshops on Digital citizenship and Digital self-care

Digital self-care training
Digital self-care is our bespoke training and consultation programme. Online abuse is, unfortunately, inevitable; so while we campaign for online environments to be better, we must also upskill people in order to become safer, more prepared and better protected online. We hope that by doing so, we will see an increase in people confidently enacting their human right to stay and engage in online digital spaces, without fear or intimidation.

By the end of our Digital self-care training and consultation programme, you will

  • Gain knowledge on how to have an online presence
  • Gain knowledge on how to be safer online
  • Gain self-care tips
  • Gain knowledge on how to deal with abuse in public life

Digital citizenship workshop
Over 2,000 young people across UK and Europe have received our Digital Citizenship workshop and this year has been sponsored by both Trust in SODA and ICC.

Our flagship training workshop on Digital Citizenship is primarily delivered to young people to help raise their agency in order to navigate the online world in a positive, critical and respectful way. Through human-centred design, growth-mindset theory approaches and creative learning, digital citizenship education provides support to young people, empowering them to navigate the online world in a safer and more positive way. It will strengthen existing online relationships, create new, sustainable bonds, and enable online communities to realise their own goals. It also provides an opportunity for digital technology to be used more positively, to encourage digital democracy as well as address existing equalities. Elements of our workshops include:

  • Digital etiquette, law and security
  • Digital rights and responsibilities
  • Digital health, wellbeing and critical thinking
